So I dug out my old Ashai SP1000 last night just to play around and discovered I have a pretty good lens on that old camera : a Takumar 55mm 1:2 F2.

It's a screw mount so ( of course ) I would like to be able to use it w/ my K10d. Is it an M42 mount I need to do this? Thanks in advance...

Yes you will need to get an M42 to K adapter. Make sure you get the genuine Pentax one, you may find one in the Marketplace here or from the Pentax website.

Moved to lens forum.
