Tokina 35 - 105/3.5 Macro - worth fixing?

Got a RMC Tokina 35 - 105/3.5 Macro Zoom together with some other lenses (including a Pentax-M 40/2.8 pancake). The zoom have some cleaning issues at the inner parts of the rear section (the lens group behind the aperture). It looks like fungus to me. I managed to remove the rear lens element module, just to find it is glued together making it impossible to reach the fungus infected area. So, is it worth trying to hunt down a similar lens with a different fault to get that lens module as spare? Anyone here know about this Tokina Zoom regarding image quality? Any one having a broken one to offer?

This is not a critical issue as I got my Pentax-A 35-105/3.5, but it would be nice to make the lens clean and 100% operational.
