Repair costs for Pentax Limited lens

I am guessing that breakage does occur from time to time.

just to ask, has anyone collected info on how much to fix the various parts like glass, internal callibration and so on.

eg,

how much would it cost to fix if the part in red broke?

i'm thinking if you're handy and you can find a cheap lens that has the same aperture lever, you could do it yourself for free.

If you didn't drop the lens, it should be warranted. If you did drop the lens, it should be repaired by someone who can make sure nothing else got whacked.

the last lens which i lost was pentax m 50 1.4 there was decementing on the compound lens, used xylene to seperate, do not have canada balsam, but in the process dropped a element )3rd of the objective and chipped 9which does not affect the picture, reassembled it back but lost the sharpness, need cement, like to exeperiment with canada balsam, do not know where to get it cheap in mumbai -india, eventually will solve the problem. anyways got the lens for equivalent of USD 20
i had a a vivitar 28, could not clean the last element, used harpic/viz mild HCL it has etched the glass -DEAD RIP

but my star is resurrecting F* 300 4.5, this was effectively danated by an isreali, and i am eternally grateful,
it has its conditions but have it workable in a round about way- any donor of an af mount preferably not from the new WR lens, i need to check replacing it.,
