Ira... it ain't me

These are Free Souls first portraits with the lens... all I did was give a little sharpening to the resized shots...

I wish I did that well on my first portraits with the J-9.

Free Soul is nailing focus even wide open with can be tough at F2

Completely understandable mistake, Free Soul! Looks like you're going to get better use of the J9 than I do, once you get used to how it handles.

I had J9,its wonderful lens. When you try to take portraits @ f2.0 they are soft.If you stop for 2.8 or 4 and at sunny days at 5.6 lens is sharp as blade.
The best thing you can do is to try to use it at 2.8 and take more photos. With time you'll understand this lens.

nevermind the sharpness but the bokeh is just great....
