Pentax 18-55 + 50 1.7= DIY super macro


Here's how I did it. Fun stuff! But man, you have to get close!

why is it that you must mount the 50 onto the Kit?
wouldn't it be easier just to use the 50 w/ a reversing ring directly on the DSLR for similar results?

Sure, but you have to have a reversing ring handy. This technique works w/o any additional hardware.
