I waiting to see if anyone admits to having 100+ lens.

Although, there is one known internet poster with that many.

In just over 1 year, I've added 12 lenses, sold 2, and gave away 1. I'm fairly well set, though. My "to acquire" list is pretty small now and I plan to get rid of some of these.

Lenses, flashes, filters, tripods, gadget bags, gadgets, it aint just lenses. GBA would be a better name.

Wow, this got me to count the lenses! I knew I had a few but now I realize I have 11. Apart from the kit lens the rest is old glass. A few duplicates... I might have to sell a few of them, maybe. Most of mine are hand me downs or purchases from eekbay and pawnshops. I have been amazed at what I have paid for at pawn shops. $10 for a SMC 50 1.7, decent condition, the aperture ring is stiff, the diaphragm blades look like they have been cleaned but work well, but the glass is clean and it takes great pictures. $10 for a 135 2.5 Takumar, non super but clean glass so I am happy with it.

Leaves for pawn shop.....

I got my K110D last May... since then I bought the DA 50-200 and the Sigma 24-135. I just ordered the DA 16-45 and Tamron 28-75mm. Oh, and a K10D...

I have 9. But I am getting rid of two; the Sigma 75-300 F4.5-5.6 and the Tamron 28-80 f3.5-5.6. The Sigma is a dog, the Tamron is OK but nothing to write home to mom about. That will leave me with 7. However I still have very strong lustings for a DA 12-24 and the FA 77 ltd. Add the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 and I'd be pretty set for a while. Like most people what limits my LBA is my bank account. :cries:

Only the smallest hint of LBA for me right now. My 5 lens lineup is treating me very well, with 17|35|50|85|300 takumars. I could use a 1.7x AF converter or a longer tele, but even then I'm suriving.

I haven't logged into my ebay account in 4 months...

In the first 2 months since I sold my Canon 350D and switched over to Pentax K10D, I stayed "virus" free, using only Tamron 28-200 XR IF, but in the last few months, that LBA thing did the following trick:

Pentax SMC A 50 f/2.0
Pentax FA 50 f/1.4
Pentax DFA 100 f/2.8
Pentax FA 100 f/3.5
Pentax FA 28-105 /4-5.6 (all black)
Pentax DA 18-55 f/3.5-5.6
Sears MC "auto" 50 f/1.4
Sears MC A 135 f/2.8
Tamron 28-200 XR IF f/3.8-f.6
Tamron SP 28-75 f/2.8

Sigma 15mm EX f/2.8 fisheye

Hanimar 135mm f/2.8 (complete poop, m42 $11 paper weight)

Next - I really want a piece of upcoming * glass (or two), for now - I think I need to enjoy what I have

Regards,
D

EDIT: Completely forgot, there was FA-J 75-300 and Tamron x1.4 converter, that went back to B&H almost as quickly as it arrived at my door steps...

MO - do converters count as a lens? What's the "official" stand on these? (Might have to set up another poll to see what the collective thinks)

I was LBA free for over 6 months, and i really enjoyed the 18-55 kit lens, but now it has a new home.

I have the lens in my signature, and I am in need for a wide angle pancake.
