I'm 13 and close to broke (not really, but most of my $$$ is safely invested for college), so buying lenses isn't a problem, unless I happen to see some for not much at all, or I really want a lens and happen to have just finished a 1000+ web design job, a rare occurrence.
Anyhow, I have two lenses at the moment, but hope to purchase both DA* zooms when I either have the money (assuming that they will work, albeit sans SDM, on the K100D) or purchase a camera on which they will work.

Currently 18 lenses and after this month it will be 19 lenses, with the addition of the DA*16-50 f2.8. Is that bad?

[QUOTE=FLASH;45568]Just what, pray tell, is LBA?
Lens Buyers Anonymous
or
Lens Buyers Addiction

The original was coined by me about 2.5 years ago on the DP Review site and Pentax now use it on their US website. The idea was that it was a sickness like Alcoholics Anonymous, due to the fact that those afflicted could not resist a lens purchase or had serious lens envy, and therefore needed a type of help group.

I wish I had copyrighted it.

Maybe you can win the prize for the MOST brands of lenses for a Pentax camera.

This month!???

You'll be lucky. The UK isn't expecting any until June, so plan for July.

Yes those lenses will work on you K100D, so you can breathe easy, your LBA is still alive and well.

NaCl(good luck on finding a big web design job)H2O

Not according to my information, I quote:

"The 26th April is the date the factory will announce when the lenses will be available, and this info comes from the production & supply side.

It looks like the date announcing when the lenses will be available has been confused with the actual availability date."

It will be interesting to see who's right, I know who I'll put my money on!

They're delaying the announcement because of ANZAC day (the 25th) the lenses will ship the day after to be in Aussie hands by the 27th , or that is atleast what i am hoping, we have managed to pickup a couple of early releases from pentax though, so why not again

I'm just about cured of LBA. Here's my collection:

SMC DA 16-45/4
SMC FA 24-90 AL
SMC A 70-210/4
SMC DA 14/2.5
SMC DA 20/3.2 Limited
SMC A 24/2.8
SMC 28/2.8
SMC FA 31/1.8 Limited
SMC 35/3.5
SMC FA 43/1.9 Limited
SMC M 50/1.4
SMC FA 50/2.8 Macro
SMC FA 77/1.8 Limited
SMC FA 100/2.8 Macro
SMC M 135/3.5
Sigma EX 180/3.5 Macro
SMC A* 300/4
SMC Takumar 500/4.5

I see one of the who knows when it will be available DA* 60-250 replacing my trusty A 70-210 in the future, and there's always the dream that I hit the lottery one night so I can get a FA* 600/f4 (sigh).

Other than that, I think I'm good.
