Choices help me choose

The clock is ticking and time is wearing thin. I have
Such a line up of lenses that cover a long range. I
finally jumped ship and ordered the wide angle. I am
so temper on the da 35mm limited. Love to get super
close to flowers but keep my distance from stingers and
Spiders.
Please help me complete my bag? Here is a list of what
I have, what would make my kit complete ? Is there any
range I may have overlooked?

Pentax k10d
Flash 540g

Lenses....
Da 18 50mm
Faj 75 300mm
Fa 50mm
100mm Marco
Fa 31mm limited
Fa 77mm limited
Da star 50 135mm sdm
Da star 300mm sdm
Da 12 24mm wide angle backorder

I am also looking for a teleconverter that will work
Excellent with all my lenses?

R U Kidding? This is so complete that you could get rid of some stuff and still be complete. Let me see..12-24, 18-50, 50-135 and 100 Macro. Ok so get rid of the 18-50 and replace with either the 16-45 or 16-50 and you ARE covered and covered with quality.

I am so jealous...

I am with Ben, swap out the Da kit with the 16-50 2.8...

The only 'must have' lens I am not seeing in your bag is the Helios 44M

Oh and since you have the 77 & 31.... the Fa 43 is an obvious choice for appearances

You already got a load of great lenses, the issue is are you good enough to get the best from what you already have?

The DA 55-300 to replace the FAJ perhaps, and you have a spot for the 10-17.

You're missing a 103 and a half.

Two actually:

2.1 and 2.4

My fear for me exactly.

I have the glass, but what do I have in ME to make it work?

I suspect very little.

To me, it appears that you're eligable for membership in LBA Anonymous.

Aside from that, I would agree with some of the other suggestions about upgrading the 18-55 and 75-300 lenses. On the wider end, besides the DA16-45 and the DA*16-50, you might want to consider one of the 17-70s--either the Sigma or Pentax DA version. On the long end, I second the recommendation for the DA55-300. For the money you can't beat it's IQ.

Unless you're really into macro, there's really no need to get the DA35 since you already have the FA31. If you still really want to get the DA35, then you might consider getting rid of the FA31 since both of them are so close in range. Really though, I'll also second the recommendation that you get the FA43 instead. On the cropped sensor, it really is a nice length for walking around.

Heather

The 12 24mm arrived today, what a relief, thought it would be canceled and reordered. I have a camera store selling me the da star 200mm, paid half and later, next month the other half.
I was thinking about the 35 limited marco but since I have the 100mm marco, I am not bothering with it.
I am considering the 16 50 da star but is it really worth it?

I forgot to ask if anyone have experience with the pentax macro flash, does it help out the macro photos better or not really ? what would you use a macro flash for. ?

Ha ha, you must be jokin'! Unless you want a 1000 mm or so, of course. We could change lenses, you take mine, I take yours...

You need a long macro (A 200mm or sigma 180mm).
