Hi

I just bought an old Chinon 50mm lens and I cant get it to work on k20d.
It does not respond when i press the shutter.
When i click on info it shows: F--- and --mm.

I am thankful for any help

go into the menu and go to custom settings

go to item 36 and select (2) permitted

then everything should operate just nicely...

dont forget to put it in M mode and use the green button to set exposure based on the aperture you select

There should really be a "READ THIS IF YOUR MANUAL LENS DOESN'T WORK ON YOUR DSLR" topic stickied to the top of this forum.
