Beware...

...the DA 40 Ltd is capable of casting a spell over you that causes a thirst for additional primes.

Great lens... but plan on getting the 21 and 70 soon thereafter

Has anyone compared this lens to the Voigtlander 40/2? In terms of IQ and build, since the latter is obviously a manual lens.

I've been looking at getting a new lens lately. I'd decided on the 28-75mm Tammy...and then today I bought the DA 40. :x It should be here in a week. All this talk and the examples...it was just infectious.

going to do some shooting w/ the k20 tomorrow, Adorama and or B and H is open up until 1:30

last time I went out and took my D700 out, I ended up getting a 24mm Nikkor Prime..

Dont be surprised if I end up posting my own examples...
