Which Tamron What Price?

Hi I wonder if anyone can tell me the reputation of the Tamron Sp 300mm f/5.6 telephoto and of the SP 60-300mm f/3.8-5.4 macro zoom !1:1.55) and what would be a fair price for them? I cant find any info anywhere.Cheers.

If you google "Adaptall 2" there is a site that is pretty comprehensive. I have a non-SP Tamron 300mm f/5.6, and it shows a fair bit of CA, but I have heard very good things about the SP version. Prices, I don't know, I ot mine when a local store was going OOB for $5. They had an SP 60-300 for $40 at the same time, but that was priced to move in under 24 hours. I wish I had bought it. :-)
