Normal for Sigma 70-200 f/2.8?

I just bought a new HSM EX DG LOL WTF Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 II Macro. The focusing is amazing on it, and I love the build quality. However, I don't know whether it's a bad copy or simply a quality of the lens that sometimes a bright background will bleed into the foreground. I'm not sure whether that would be considered CA, flare, or something else. Can anyone else with this lens chip in and let me know if this is normal?

You can see some blue or cyan around the bottom of the branch the squirrel is on in this f/2.8 shot:

In this f/8 shot it's gone:

Thanks for the guidance -- it's something I could definitely live with, but if a better copy would get rid of it, I'll send this lens back for a replacement post-haste.

From dpreview.............

"Chromatic aberration is minimal at 70mm, but then increases progressively towards the long end. At 200mm it's the highest we've measured on a 70-200mm zoom, and a clear issue for real-world shooting."
