I have the 44M and the 44-2, now I must get the MC 44-4

What a great first series with the Helios and PK to M42 adaptor... welcome to the club.
What club, did I miss something??

Here's a recent 100% crop from my 44-2. Zeroed in Lightroom, so no sharpening or adjustments at all. Note that it's taken through somewhat misty sea air on the Scottish coast, hence the lack of contrast. After that the same pic with Lightroom's Auto function and default sharpening. Probably f8 and sample from off-centre of the photo.

You can see that the detail on the windows is 1 pixel wide. I was very pleased, at least.

Mission accomplished:

44m-4 just purchased on eBay.

Looks mint, and just 40 bucks, which includes shipping from the Ukraine.

How could I say no?

Not going to trade my 44M but when you get back to Melbourne I don't mind lending it to you some time Figmental. Got mine for $25aud and if you go through the oddball/antique camera camera fleabay listings you should find one or 2 attached to Zenits and going for dirt cheap as in almost give away prices.
