Pentax Screw mount to K mount adaptor

I have a screw mount lens which I use on my K10D. Should I use Lock Tight or Crazy Glue to attach a K-Mount adapter so I don't have to screw the lens into the adaptor every time?

You should only fix the adapter to the lens, IF you have removed the retaining spring in the adapter beforehand! Otherwise you can't remove the lens anymore from the camera!

I have done that with all my remaining M42 lenses: fixed the adapter to the lens, removed the little spring and drilled a hole into the lens mount flange, which makes it possible to use the normal Pentax lens lock pin. Works just like a normal K-mount lens then, except for the fully manual aperture.
