Is the new DFA200mm going to be f2.8?

It seems no luck of finding fa 200/2.8, I hope the forthcoming 200mm be f2.8 at least. And DFA300mm going to be f4.5 or f4 or f2.8? Thanks

I don't think Pentax has disclosed that yet- we only know the info for the DA lenses.

More deatails can be found in the lens roadmap: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/attachments/pentax-dslr-faq/73d1159726064...es-roadmap.pdf

Reember to only post already-answered questions in the FAQ, so, for the time being, I've moved this to the lens forum.

Hi,
Being a DFA means it's goind to be based on an existing FA lens. So, I would say it will be F2.8 and probably have other features to suit the K10 as well. The 300mm will be the same I'd say, f4 or 4.5, but not f2.8.
Cheers.

Hopefully, the more compact and affordable f4 or f4.5. The f2.8 would be out of my reach.

If DFA 200 and 300 come out next year, I would retire my sigma 70-200/2.8 to the cabinet.
