Question on the new DA* 60-250mm F4

Hello,

Having recently switch from years of film to digital, I'm slowly getting used to it but I still ocassionally think in old school terms, especially focal lenghts.
Is the focal lenght of this new lens in the digital sensor size format? I mean, would it be equivalent to aprox 90-375mm focal lenght in the film full frame format?

Hi, to answer your question the focal length of the lens is still 60-250mm but the field of view when used in APS-C will be equivalent to a 90-375mm on a FF camera.

Continue thinking in old school terms. Focal length is focal length.
If you want to take the lazy route and carry a set of multiplication tables around, I suppose that's one way to do it. I prefer to learn what my lenses are doing on the format I am using, not what they might do if I was shooting a format that I am not using.
