Nice examples. The increase in subject sharpnness as the aperture is stopped down is also very visible to me.

How are you liking this lens?

K55/1.8:

DA*55/1.4:

DA* is considered the best 5x by slrgear, and got a 38/40 for optical qualities from Réponses Photo - May of 2009 Ed. first 2 reviews I know of.
