Hi!

Just got my K110D and Im amazed at what the camera does. However, among the 3 lenses I have the Sears 135mm screws in alright but when I switch the cam on it shows "AV" and it keeps blinking. The lens just does not work.

I have tried it in the manual setting and then tried with all the settings but couldnt shoot.

Can someone help me.

does the lens have an "A" setting on the aperture ring? If so, set it to that. If not, you will have to go into the menu of the camera to "custom" settings, then scroll to the "using aperture ring" and set that to "permitted" then you should be good to go !!! Here is a shot i just took today with a Pentax SMC-M 50MM F2 lens off of my fathers ME Super. I was in the same position as you the first day i got my K110D, then i dug into the manual, and figured it out, hehe.
