My garage sale find

Went to a garage sale this morning and scored big.

Asahi Pentax K-1000 SE in Mint condition

M28 F2.8
M100 F4
A200 F4
A50 F2

All glass is perfect with rubber lens hoods and cases.
I am so geeked.
Especially about the M100.

Took it to the park tonight and took some really creamy shots. Very nice bokeh on this lens.

Just thought I would share my great find.
How much did I pay you ask? Try $30 for the whole lot.

WOOT!

The cheapest lens in that lot, the A 50 f2, is worth $30 alone.

I'm so jealous.

(congrats! )

I know it. I am still reeling from the shock.

I am already in love with the M100.
Looking forward to shooting with the A200

I've owned copies of the other lenses before, and they are duplicates of other focal lengths in my collection...they will probably show up on here if anybody wants em... :-)

Ah, another of my favourite summer things: Garage sales (except having them)

M100 F4--macro?

Congrats on the find--it's a little early up here, but maybe I'll take the girls out in the wagon tomorrow

No, it's not the macro, just the standard focal length M100

Oh, wow--I thought they only made a 100/2.8 and the 100/4 Macro. Can you post a pic? Is it smaller than the 2.8?

My neighbour had a bunch of Nikon stuff out last summer and I didn't want to get a closer look because then I might walk into a two system situation. But somebody was very excited when they found it. And now I read about people using old Nikon glass on their Pentax bodies!

There is no plain M100/4. It's got to be either the macro or else the f/2.8. I have no experience with the f/4 macro, but the f/2.8 is probably my favorite lens, and I paid 4 times what you did for the whole lot (but FWIW, I got my M28/2.8 for less :-)

Sorry...It is the M100 F2.8. My bad.
I was thinking of the F4 Macro when I posted. As soon as the weather clears here, I will get out and get some good shots with the lens.
