Need 1:1 converter for Tamron macro 90mm 2.5

I bought a Tamron 90mm f/2.5 SP MF Macro Adaptall mount lens, but I can't seem to find the f18 Tamron 1:1 converter tube. Are there any substitutes available, or does anyone know of a place I can get one online?

I've been watching CL and ebay for sometime, and haven't seen any.

You might try to buy a 90/2.5 with the converter and sell the less desireable lens only. I've seen them offered together recently on ebay.

Also consider using the SP 2x #01F TC as a temporary measure. They are fairly common at $25 - $50.

#52B on Adaptall-2.com

That 52B is indeed the lens I have, with the adapt-all 2 mount.

Will the Flat-Field 2X Tele-Converter give true 1:1 with this lens since the lens is 2:1?

Yes. The following is pasted directly from the 90/2.5 page on the authoritative vintage Tamron website, linked in my post above above:

"Tamron made an optional accessory 1:1 extension tube for this lens. Alternatively you can achieve 1:1 macro with good performance by using either a Tamron SP 2x converter, a Kiron 7 element 2x converter, or a Tokina 7 element 2x converter."

I have both the extension tube and 2 of the converters, one MIB, one Exc. I have the converters for use with my other Tamron lenses as well as with the 90/2.5 (and because I am a bonafide Lens Buying Addict ).

If you would like to discuss taking one of ymconverters off my hands, please feel free to PM
