I picked up this little teleconverter from Cameta's used department. I've read about it at that other forum and it got good reviews. I first tried it with my M50/1.7, then the FA35. I'm not sure of the magnification with the FA35 but it's more than the 50. I was having trouble getting a sharp image until I broke out the tripod. This is resized but uncropped:

Then I tried it on my Tamron 80-200/2.8. It's a bit massive with this combination but I'm pretty happy with the result. This was shot full zoom, or 400mm, uncropped:

I understand that it's just a 2x teleconverter with an extension tube built in but it amazes me how well it works. I wonder why they don't make them anymore. Or do they?
