Apparently the Soligor lenses of that time period were made for their German parent company by Japanese manufacturers ....... They're still in business and headquartered in Germany:

Allied Impex Corporation/Soligor was founded in New York City in the 50s and grew from there. The founders were German immigrants. Soligor of Germany was founded later as the European office. They managed to stay afloat as the main office succumbed to mismanagement. Here's some more about AIC.

Happy to pass along what I've seen. Yes, T4 for two is a web page I wrote in 2002 or '03. Some excellent photos you're getting with that Cosmicar. Keep up the good work.

Thought I'd try some extension tubes for macro... happy with the results of this first attempt.
