DA* 16-50mm from Prodigital Recently?

Anyone purchase the 16-50mm recently through Prodigital2000 recently? What price did you offer them for this lens and did it get accepted?

Thanks!

I've ordered a couple things from them in the past six months--not this lens exactly though--but they usually take at LEAST 10% off.

I've sold an item on eBay recently with a "best offer" and I could set it to automatically accept offers over a certain amount, and automatically reject offers under a certain amount (different amounts can be set). I'm sure they do this, so there's no harm in trying (can't say for sure if they'd ever see the lowballs or not)!

Might as well start way under, watch your eBay messages for the rejections and keep moving up.

I think it depends upon the prevailing climate too. I bought a DA*200 from them last month, and they wouldn't even drop $15 on a $700+ lens, perhaps knowing that in weeks it would be selling for $200 more.

I see a lot of the prices now include shipping too, so they may be less flexible. I think maybe their shipping costs were driving down their feedback rating (reasonable shipping charges are one of the four or five things sellers are rated on now).

I admit, the last thing I bought from them using a best offer was in December (a flash, and shipping was included), and before that 2 lenses in November, but all three times it was 10% off or more.

I got the Da* 16-50 in March before the prices went up. I offered 620 US for it (it came with an extended warranty). I want to say that the original price was 655, but I am not certain. Anyway, they accepted.
