That seems like a much better alternative than what poor Maya had on for several months in 2003/2004 - she didn't like it, so I kept having to reinforce it. January 2004 photo - betsypdx photos at pbase.com

Betsy... oh, what a sad, pathetic and cute shot of Maya! Our Chaya had one of those collars last summer when she broke her toe. She tore into it too and pretty much started to destroy it. We got a bigger one, instead of McGyver rigging it like you did!

Our pups have a very similar profile... that portrait you posted a bit ago reminded me a lot of Chaya.
