Thanks Creampuff--point noted. I should have entitled the thread differently--that would have eased the confusion. My point was to compare 2 popular Tamron lenses (the 17-50mm vs the 90mm) with the same subject--Apple Blossoms. I wanted the thread here, not in the post your photos section.

As for discussion, that is open to any who want to participate, but I think a good start would be how the 2 lenses compare and contrast--I, for one, find them very similar--it is obvious they are siblings, even if one is a Macro lens.

If you want me to change the title, PM me and tell me what you want it to be.

Yes! 3 taken with the Tamron 17-50mm, the other 2 with the Tamron 90mm. The 2 lenses, I think perform similarly. with the close focus ability of the 17-50 really shining here.
