Anyone with images taken with scopes?

I remember reading here about adapters to fit a dslr's to these scopes, anyone has any images to share.

Thank you

I have a celestron C90 spotting scope. (1000mm F11)

It came with a T Mount adaptor, which allows connection to a camera for use as a prime lens..

Many spotting scopes have similar adaptors,

there are also eyepeice adaptors but I am not familiar with these.

Search for threads started by wildman - he shoots birds and wildlife with telescopes and gets impressive results.

I think wildman (user on this forum) has done a lot of scope adaptations. Here is an example of a post he made some time ago:

When I was shooting film exclusively a few years back, I really wanted to try this but just never got around to it. So I don't have any images to share but have wanted to try this for awhile.

Initially I was going to say that with the crop factor of the DSLRs, most would probably be better off first trying out an inexpensive 400/5.6 or 500/8 + TC, maybe reserve the idea of scopes for astro photography. It's hard enough to use something that long and optically still relatively good and allows aperture control. But then I clicked on Steve's link and saw mention of a 500mm/F5 for only $100 that is supposedly decent optically, having an option like that would make me rethink my initial comment somewhat. Now I'm interested in researching that lens to see what kind of optical results one can expect. That's a much faster optic than I would think of at that low of a price.
