Raynox is company that makes a wide variety of products, but the 150 and 250 are closeup lenses that attach to the front of an ordinary lens. They are *much* higher quality than the diopter sets sold in all photo stores and all over Ebay, but don't cost much more. While Im sure you could find one used, they are still available new from places like Amazon or other larger camera dealers.
I tried to close focus with that reversing ring attached to my 135 and i can't get it to get a clear picture.
I tried turning the focussing ring ang focusing close and far.
Everything is a blurry mess.
I can try outside tommorow with more light.
It works fine on my Tak 55 f/1.8, my macro Tak 50 f/4 and my M 50f/2.
I can't test it on my other lenses becuse these are the only 4,( I also have that 35-80 f/4-5.6 kit lens... ugh!) that have 49mm threads.
I also found out the focusing ring won't work on all of them in reversed mode; you have to move the camera to achieve close focus.
My first time ever using a reversing ring.
