Please tell me your experience with the Macro 50mm Takumer f/4.

Anyone used it with a not-to- expensive macro ringlite such as the Digislave mini LED with a 49-52 adapter?

Any experience would help! With or witout a macro ringlight.

Are you refering to the 100mm? I've got the 100mm F4 1:2 macro, and I think it's great. Don't have anything else to compare it to, but with my limited macro experience, I think it does a great job. Don't have a macro ringlite....

I've only had one for a little while, and not used it with any light beyond the sun, but I like it. I have the preset versin that goes to 1:1, which is handy, but is still pretty darn small.
