The FA-J 18-35 f/4-5.6 on film/full frame

Who has tried this lens on a film body? How is the distortion at the widest settings? Vignetting, sharpness?

It didn't really sink in that this lens covered full frame until I read about it lately. I had thought about it as a semi-crappy kit lens but now I see it as a potentially great way to toy around with super wide angle shots on the cheap. Thoughts or sample pictures?

I mount the FA-J18-35mm on my Program Super and couldn't see any sign of vignetting but there is some distortion for sure since 18mm on film is really wide.
But I haven't tried shooting with it yet. I need to get a new battery for my Program super

If you want some sample with FF camera, Ricehigh has modified his FA-J 18-35 to mount on his Canon 5D:

Cool, that's exactly what I was looking for. Looks like the corners are soft but overall this lens seems like ridiculous value for money for usage on full frame considering what it costs these days.
