Takumar-F 70-210mm with K20

I have Takumar-F 70-210mm zoom wich is a K mount I try to use with my K20 and when I turn the camera on it's ask me to set focal lens settings. Because this is not a prime lens I don't know how to set it. Anybody have an idea? Thank you!

There are generally two different ideas on this. One is to set the lens at the lowest focal length so the SR mechanism doesn't over compensate. The other is to set it somewhere near the middle so it "balances out" so to speak. I've tried both, with my Pentax A 70-210, setting it at 70mm for several days shooting and setting it at 150mm for some other days of shooting. I've found a very slight advantage to the 150mm setting, but I think you could argue either way.

NaCl(I don't really think it matters as long as you don't set it for the full zoom length)H2O
