In case you weren't just joking or using it as a general comparison, how did you DSLR body work there considering Pentax is only since K-7 talking about -10 degrees centigrade (a mildish winter temperature!)?

I was surprised when they said that about the K-7--I've been out with the K20 in lower than that and just figured it could handle it!
I'm also wondering how the new Sigma 24-70 fares. That's a great range. (just thought I'd write something on topic!)
I too had the Tamron 28-75 and sold it when I got the 16-50 and the 50-135. Sometimes I miss the Tamron for its range, but I didn't find it wide enough at the wide end. A 24-75, I'd take! If the Sigma beats the DA* zooms in IQ, it'd be worth a look.
