Some macro work here:

First is the cork in a picket of air from the impact and the second image is the cork
as it enters the water from half above and half below the water level

The macro capability of this lens is amazing! One of my efforts:

#sorry, much in the the same vein as Dominique's shots.

Apologies to Diego for commenting and not posting, but I haven't got the lens yet! maybe one day:.

Amazing photos everyone... I already have the FA 35 but the DA 35's weird quality is calling me from this thread :b

Or I can just stop LBA ing and start shooting

Also it's weird that I don't see "da 35 bokeh" in many of the shots here. Are these photoshopped at all?

Haha it's okay

It's really an amazing lens! You can get some real awesome bokeh or really shallow DOF with this lens when you push in real close!

After getting the FA I realize how deep the DOF of a 35mm at normal length is. I guess APS-C 35mm can't really fully replace Full Frame 50mm. I never thought about pushing in closer with the macro for shallower DOF though!

My friends (main photography subject these days) are already complaining when I zoom over them with the DA Fisheye I guess the 35 would be slightly less intimidating...

Well, back to more photos! everyone's is great so far

Got this shot of yesterday, walked into the room where the scene was and guitarcase was just there, with the perfect lightning on it. So I snapped a few and got this.
