the Tokina 28mm f:2.8

Hi friends.

Today arrived a lens that I buy online and in second hand but in mint condition.
The lent was unknown for me but I take the chance and was not expensive. (30 Eur).
Is a Tokina 28mm f:2.8.

I don't know why I bought it because I got that range in the 18-55 kit lens, but I'm quite happy with my small shots.
Here are 3 jpg's without pos production.

Hi Palu,
The issue may be with image shack not allowing full linking.

I have that same lens in an M42 mount and enjoy it very much. while it does overlap with your zoom you may find it more useful in some situations such as low light to enable higher shutter speeds. also it allows for more selection in the depth of field.

A while ago I compared two of the Tokinas to my Pentax 28 mm lenses.
It turned out that center sharpness is about the same but that the Tokinas are noticably worse in the corners.

On a dslr perhaps the corner issue is not so bad due to the crop size - maybe...
