What mount is this?

Perhaps a Nikon AI lens (F mount). It has that lever for operating the aperture blades (sorry I don't know the technical name for that part). The tabs on the left though are throwing me off. The Nikon lenses that I'm thinking of off the top of my head only had one tab which is used to engage with the body to register the aperture in use.

Yeah, the tabs definitely look more like a Minolta mount.

Yeah, I have one Nikon F-mount and it doesn't look like that--note the notch and the rounded edges of the bayonet.

Maybe minolta?

The only thing is, all Minolta lenses I've seen have that rounded peg rather than a flat aperture operating switch (like we have on the Pentax mount). Not sure if that's a requirement or just a design quirk that most manufacturers went with.

Well, I've actually got a Minolta X-700 film body... just looking for a nice walkabout zoom to go with it.

This is a potential sale on a Tokina AT-X 28-85mm.

I believe it is a Yashica mount, I've been burned with those before.

We had one in a canon mount at work. It is very decent from 32-75mm and fair elsewhere. I wouldn't call in a a brass band or anything. However, I have only used it on film.

Edit: I take that back, it was a AT-X 280 AF Pro 28-80mm f2.8.
