Probably the sigma 180mm macro. I've already got an A* 200mm macro, but there's really nothing else in that range that I want and don't have except the 77Ltd

why even want the sigma if you have the A*? the 200 is deemed buy just about everyone to be the best macro by any manufacturer. it would seem rather redundant to own both. the 77 would be a far more reasonable choice. this is a hypothetical though....

Yeah, I know. But I've also got the FA* and A* 85mms. I really would like to get the 77Ltd though. It's a lot smaller than the 85s and I mostly use them at 2.0 or higher anyway. I love macro though and wouldn't mind having a long AF macro for faster moving bugs and the like.

thanks guys!!!

ok LBA is back at normal high... 60-250 sound like such a fun lens!!
also the 50-135

but I will get the 77mmm first .. as it small and perfect to what I do.
Definitely. It's one of my favorites. Now, if I had the $1,500 to spend, and already had a K-7, I'd go with the 100-300 or 60-250.

well with that kind of lens collection, I guess having both doesn't seem so strange. what about the FA* 200mm macro over the sigma?

In keeping with the less than $1500 redquirement I picked the sigma. The FA* sells for ridiculous prices unfortunately. Really though, if I had $1500 to spend it would go towards getting the K-7. I've got all of the lenses I could reasonably want at the moment.

DA18-55 AL WR - with a K-7 attached. I'm buying the lens, the camera just comes with it!

Okay seriously, most likely the DA*200 or a minty FA*85/1.4

That's easy...phone up prodigital and ask for the FA77 DA* 50-135 combo and you're set for a couple of months till you start thinking about the lenses you bypassed and are calling you...lol
