I hope someone can help

I have a Pentax 75-300 telephoto lens for my *ist DL. I recently used it at Miami Metro Zoo until my camera battery died. I put the camera with lens still attached into the bag. A few weeks later, while attempting to take pictures at Hobe Sound, I couldn't get the zoom ring to turn past 75 mm. I'm crushed. Summer vacation has started and I really want to get into my photography.

What have you tried to free it?

Only turning it...couldn't find any openings that could have something caught......any ideas?

Not sure, have you have a look through the front element for anything that my look wrong?

My son-in-law somehow managed to free the lens. I don't know what he did that I hadn't tried already.......all I know is I am so thankful and excited. Summer break has started and I want to go out and photograph the beautiful sights I have available right here in Florida.
