The Sigma 10-20 ain't bad at all - not sure when one would 'need' f/2.8 at 14mm but I've never felt lacking with my 12-24. I think you'll be fine!

2.8 can be useful for moonlight shooting when you don't have a remote for bulb. Helps you keep the ISO down.
