Photos taken by Sigma 70-300 4-5.6 non APO, (they are nice)

For not a lot more $$$, though, the DA 55-300 is a decent upgrade. The 70-200/2.8's are at least double its price. But the 300 is more expensive still...

Well, not JUST my kids, but on the soccer field the 300mm would be nice. Not pulling the trigger yet, precicely because of the high price. I need more reasons to get it and I don't have them right now.

I've looked at the 55-300 and haven't discounted it yet. Can't buy everything all at once and I already pulled the trigger on a FA50 f1.4 this month.

If you find your sigma sharpe enough there is no point getting the 20mm 2.8 tho. DA* are all too much over priced.

I see all the photos of the OP as pretty damn sharp. Nice shots.

Yes I did mean 200mm, So yes if you are using it outdoor then do consider the 70-300 since I think it is sharpe as well, they are no need to go for 200mm 2.8 unless you shoot indoor sport alot.

In door with your kids you can consider buying a flashgun alone with the sigma 70-300
