You might be right, Lance. I did play with 60-250 in the store today. It is really a great lens. The sharpness at f4 is unbelievable. However, it is way too big for everyday use and for me it would have ended up being a lens for occasional use only. It is way too expensive (over $2000) to not be used extensively. Well, I walked out of the store carrying the DA*200. I played with it all evening and it's great. It needed only a minor AF adjustment to cure BF. I tried it with Tamron 1.4x TC AF and it works perfect. Instant 280mm lens. One little thing makes me wonder though - it sometimes underexposes (without the TC) up to almost a full stop. I wonder if this is normal.
