Class Autos and Classic Lens - FA31Ltd

Fellow Pentaxians:

Every Saturday there is a classic auto show only 5 minutes from my home. Today my grandson and I ventured there with GX20 and FA31Ltd in tow. After gazing at all these colorful hunks of metal it occurred to me that I should share some of them with you. These are just your basic point n' shoot variety staging, no flash, no post processing. Just basic JPEGS. I've uploaded a half dozen in my gallery (Shutterbob). So if you're into these slick looking classics, here are a few 1024x samples to whet your appetities. By the way, it's also a good plug for the FA31Ltd. However, it did work my legs to do the zooming. I kinda missed my DA 16-45.

Looks like a fun day out.
Having a single fixed focal length lens makes you have to think with your feet a lot more
A zoom would have probably given you the flexibility and different perspectives you were after.
But nice captures there.
Great machines, those.

The Jaguar looks particularly classy. Here's one from an event near here last weekend.

Thanks for sharing the excellent shots!

(My dad had a XK-120 roadster, but I was always a sucker for the salons...)
