Lens map template with graph (Excel)

Not sure if there's one posted already (I didn't find one in a brief search), but thought others might be interested in a quick & dirty lens map worksheet with graph. Call me a geek, I like seeing the map graphed.

To use: Download the file and remove the .ZIP extension. Simply enter starting & ending focal length and description and the worksheet will update the graph.

(Not sure if this is the proper forum. Not sure where else to put it. Apologies to the mods if I flubbed the location.)

FWIW.

That's great, thanks for posting that. I've been thinking of making one or trying to find one online and this one saves me the time. Excellent.

Lowell -- do you still have and are you willing to share your template? I like the separation of zooms / primes on your map.

It was really simple.

I set a minimum width for a cell, and had individual cells from 10-100mm and either 5 or 10mm per cell from 1000 to 1000. headings were centered on the cell

then I just shaded the cells appropriately for each focal length and lens. Note yellow was for lenses that don't get a lot of use, or lenses where I have upgraded

Not sure I kept it. I will need to look

here is the roadmap

simply type your lens as you want it on the left, and shade in the appropriate focal length range.

Note the zooms and primes are simply placed by merging cells in the spread sheet
