I have a very efficient lens pusher.
One of these guys who orders a lens in your name on spec, and tells you "no pressure".
It arrived on Friday, but I couldn't get down to pick it up until today.
It's big, it's heavy, it's a little slow focusing on the K20, but damn, it's sharp.
Like the DA*55/1.4, it's sharp enough to cut your subject with if you aren't careful with it.
It seems a little punchier than what I'm used to as well, though this is just a feeling I got from looking at the chimp screen.
The build is really solid, and like the *55, it comes with a very useful lens hood. It, combined with the k20 and pack is a pretty hefty package, it felt a little bit heavy on my Feisol Tournament tripod with their mid sized ball head, but not to the point of overloading it.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get out of town and run some photons past it.
Hopefully also, I'll get my lab computer out of the shop in working condition so that I'll be able to start processing the backlog of images I already have.
