Price Piggy 16-50 DA* for $459

Hey everyone,

I've been researching the DA* 16-50 for a while and came upon a $459 price for the lens at Price Piggy. They have other Pentax lenses for cheap as well.

Has anyone had experience with Price Piggy?

Never heard of them, but did you see the prices for the DA 200 ($585) and DA 300 ($675)? I wish I had some money right now!

Whenever you find a deal that is too goo to be true, it usually is.

Except for eBay sellers with excellent feedback, I usually go with Amazon because they have the cheapest prices (compared to B&H, Adorama, etc.) and have an awesome return policy.

Why not go check PriceGrabber.com - Comparison Shopping, Online Shopping, Product Reviews It automatically checks the ratings of the resellers and then posts the prices of the item you are searching for in a list. And as someone already mentioned, Amazon is pretty good too, although I usually like to do business pricegraqbber resellers.

Yes, but you see...

The "smart" shopper would use this information (ie. website lists as "In Stock" with a clearly advertised price), and try to get it price-matched somewhere else with a better reputation and a price-match policy...

Last I checked, price-matching policies don't usually stipulate that the competing company needs to have a "good reputation"

Someone should try this...oh yeah...

Yes, ever since I made a huge mistake with an infamous online seller years back, I go to Reseller-Ratings if there is any doubt whatsoever--it is an excellent resource--one to which I contribute for sure.
