150 macro is the only lens of theirs that seems to be unanimously considered great.....and only thing of theirs I'd want to buy.
I believe you missed one, the Sigma 100-300 f/4. An unbelievably sharp and versitile lens.

My list is:
I am obsessing on macro.
I would like to try the Tokina 90 f/2.5
The A 100 f/2.8 macro
If I can find the A* 200mm macro for the right price its MINE.

I could really use the Sigma/Tamron 70- 200 f2.8

EDIT:
Some day I would love to own fast 500mm or 600mm for wildlife.

Here's my wish list:
Vivitar 85mm f/1.4. That looks like it could be a fun lens.
Or the DA* 55mm f/1.4.

There are a few gaps in my lineup that I would like to fill:

- K/A 15mm 3.5... oh man have I been looking at this lens for a long time, but it has never been in my price range...

- A 20mm 2.8... seems like an interesting thing, don't know if I'll ever get one though...

- K 28mm 2 or 3.5... the f/2 is a bit hard to find so to say, so I will probably end up getting the 3.5... strangely enough it is in my price range...

- A* 85mm 1.4... at least I'd like to hold one... would fit perfectly between 50mm and 100-135mm something... again has never even touched my price range...

That's about it for now, trying to keep it realistic though this is hardly realistic any more...

I should be happy with my line up but...
there's the voice at the back of my head.

so, I have:
Sigma 10-20
Sigma 24/2.8 AF
31/1.8 ltd
40/2.8 ltd
F50/1.7
Tamron 70-200/2.8
Sigma 105/2.8 macro
and two back up zooms.

so, current wish list:
decent to good 1.5 &(or) 2x TC to get the reach
New bag, new ballhead, new tripod, flash (looking at the prices I'll probably end up with Metz), new K20 wouldn't go amiss and recently I was thinking either DA17-70 or Sigma 24-70 (the older non HSM would do)
but...
I declared LBA moratorium
So I hope I'll get TC for X-mas (geeee 6 months ) and maybe I'll muster some cash for bag. I think for this year that's going to be sadly it...

regards
Peter

Yeah I want one, but I'm not really into wide shots, which is why I don't have a fisheye on their.

But if anyone has it , feel free to convince!

I really should have a wide lens 1.4-1.8, but hard to find - primarily I'd want one in the early 20mm range or wider.
The 31ltd is hardly a wide angle on aps-c. It's the ideal "normal" lens with about the same FOV as the ubiquitous 50mm on film/full frame.

My wish list for lenses, now that I have a decent body line-up.

1. DA* 50-135mm f2.8 (Sep?)
2. DA* 16-50mm f2.8 (Dec)
3. DA* 55mm f1.4 (March '10)
4. A large bag to keep all the junk I keep buying in the interim.

Then, may be upgrade to K-7 next July.

31mm FA ltd--like so many others, I can't see paying a grand for it, so it stays on my list rather than in my bag

DA* 300
DA 15
I'd love to try one, but not sure I can justify getting that when I know for sure I want a 35mm macro limited. But feel free to persuade me anyone

Not had mine for long (fa31mm) but love it already. I am at the point of trying to find something bad about it but it keeps proving me wrong time and time again.

After I get the K-7 and pay it off I really am only looking at the DA* 16-50mm and maybe theDA* 50-135mm. Other than that I may have reached a plateau in my LBA.

I'm sure it's great, but is it that much better than say a 35mm limited DA macro? Not sure I'd want to spend cash on both (but wouldn't mind owning both of course).

Wish there was a site with pics sorted by lens, I know I can search tags in flickr, but most of those pics are compressed and small and you can only take so many flower pics.

PENTAX Photo Gallery

go to Image Data/Lens

not that large either.

Check Roentarre's site I think he may have a 31 mm section

(http://www.roentarre.com/GallerybyLens.aspx)... select lens of preference

Hope you don't mind me passing your great site on James

Cheers

Neil

I could have made that list, but I recently bought the K15 and the K28/3.5. Wonderful lenses.

Now the 85...

Hi,

Well one of my wishes came true today, a "SMC Pentax F 1.7x AF Adapter" for the equivalent of $46.00 :<) in it's original packing and case.
