ok, my current list of lenses is in my sig

first thing i want is an AF tele lens, looking at a tamrom 70-300 on ebay atm, just to tide me over, the gf can use it in future.

i would like some nice sharp zooms - a fast walk around, a wide angle, and a fastish tele which starts @ 70mm (would be happy with an f4 lens, but nothing really exists, except the DA* 60-250, but its stupidly expensive)

24-70mm f2.8 sigma
70-200mm f2.8 sigma/tamron
1.4x or 1.7x AF teleconverter
70mm sigma macro

i think id prefer the tamron fast walk around, but the range is not ideal, so will prob end up with the big sigma wish pentax had a fast option in the 24-70ish range.

jupiter-9 85mm f2.0
carl ziess 35mm f2.4
replace my pentax M 28mm with a vivitar PKA mount 28mm close focus
replace my 135mm with something else, either a Pentax A or a russian M42 lens (jupiter-37a looks the goods and is cheap)

also would like a Metz 48 flash, and a couple of flashes for off cam stuff, something like the vivitars, lomos, nikon sb26s etc.

its gonna take me a while to collect all that! lol

I can't decide whether I want a DA*55, but that's the only thing really on my list. Option: buy a big, heavy lens that performs very well and will be hard to kill. Option: buy a small, light A 50/1.7 that performs very well and will be cheap to replace. Neither really strikes me as optimal.

I love shooting in inclement weather. A weather-resistant DA 50/1.7, about the size and weight of the FA 50/1.7, would be wonderful.

Anyhow, until I decide, I'll just keep using rubber bands on my lens mounts. The lens might get trashed but the body will be well protected.

Wish list item one: more rubber bands.

why do you want to replace DA70??

A local camera store has a DA* 16-50 for A$1049 which is very tempting considering elsewhere it's $1400+ in AU.

An 135mm 2.8 prime would be next.
