I have a whole laundry list of lenses and other doo-dads to add. Right now, I would say a DA* 200mm is at the head of the list. I am used to always having a lens at least that long around. In the mean time I am going to pick-up one of the legacy 200mm primes which might even be just fine for a long time to come. I figure legacy glass is one of the 'prime' reasons for my defection from the Canon camp so I best get to taking advantage, right?

So maybe a flash will be first...can't decide between the 540 and the Metz 58 though.

I would LOVE a fast 135mm like the A 135 but can "make do" with just the DA* 50-135mm in the mean time...hehehe...

I would love if Pentax made a DA* 60-200mm in an f/2.8 version as f/4 is just a tad too slow for when I will want it most. Hence the need for a DA* 200mm and a 'foot zoom' using the 50-135mm. Weird gap in the DA* line-up though. A DA* 100-300 f/2.8 (for that I would be OK with f/4 so I would not need to sell a neighbor child, a kidney or heart in order to buy a copy) would be a WINNER for sure...then again...legacy glass fills it nicely!!

Oh, I would really LOVE adding a good 1.7x TC but, good gawds, 400-bones for a TC? WOW!!

A weather-sealed 70-200 f2.8, yep, f4 is too slow, yep 1 stop makes a big difference.
A weather-sealed 1.4x TC.

Actually Pentax doesn't really make the lenses I want!

My list:

1. DA 12-24mm/ Sigma 10-20mm/ DA 15
2. One of the Korean brand 85mm f1.4
3. DFA 100mm macro

Hopefully I can get either one of the 3 wide angle lens by the end of the year; #2 and #3 I'm just being greedy

What's happening with the Pentax super telephoto? I'd love to see that option.

I'm kicking around selling my FA 35mm f2 and buying a FA 43mm. Other than that I'm not looking at any more lenses (no desires).

My current arsenal is:

DA* 300
DA 18-55
DA 50-200
D-FA 50 macro
DA40
DA70
K28/3.5
M150/3.5
M50/1.7

What I'd like to add:

DA21 (unless I find an M20/4 at a good price and waiting to see the the Voigtlander 20mm is like)
DA15 (here I hesitate between the DA12-24 althoug I am not a big fan of zooms)
1.7X Teleconverter

but likely the funds will go toward the K7 first, so it might be a while yet before I get another lens.

The DA* 60-250 will nicely round out my collection; f/4 is fast enough for nearly all situations, and I'll use a flash or tripod/monopod when it's not. I might also buy the DA 10-17 Fisheye after this if the financial situation allows.

Extreme wide angle screwmount SMC Takumar primes and/or early manual K-mounts to give me a decent wide angle view on my DSLRs..... a 17mm & a 20mm.

As you can see from my signature I've got the long end of things pretty well covered. Not so great on the wide side as yet. I'm thinking a DA14/2.8 or the DA * 16~50/2.8 will fill in the gap.

I need something in the telephoto range: a Tamron 70-200 should fit the bill nicely.

But emotionally I really want a DA35 and Sigma 70.

2 Pentax bodies
16-50 and 50-135 for events
77mm limited 1.8
35mm limited macro replacing my wish for a 35mm flektagon/kiron macro (why didn't I find out about this lens sooner)

31mm FA ltd--like so many others, I can't see paying a grand for it, so it stays on my list rather than in my bag

DA* 300
DA 15

Yeah I want one, but I'm not really into wide shots, which is why I don't have a fisheye on their.

But if anyone has it , feel free to convince!

I really should have a wide lens 1.4-1.8, but hard to find - primarily I'd want one in the early 20mm range or wider.
