Just went out today and only brought my DA 35. You're right to be so excited to receive it, calle; you're gonna love it!

I'm posting this not only to echo the amazing versatility and IQ of this lens in ALL situations (macro, landscape, etc.), plus how it lives on my K20D about 80-90% of the time. But I also want to comment on how some on this and other sites have criticized the bokeh of this lens: DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!! I've found it to be superb, so I'm just mentioning this for the sake of those who may be questioning it based on these reports.

I have to agree completely with all of what you wrote...I never thought I would be so happy with a 35mm lens. I expected t just use it for macro and product shooting. I am loving it for all manner of applications. Most of the reason is the sharpness. I find it a wonderful complement to the 77mm.

Just a warning. Don't let it near your wife. I made that mistake. She's now convinced the DA35 is hers and it's permanently attached to her K20.

Thats right!

But I solved the problem and sold all lenses except the DA15 and the DA*55...

The DA35 is for all day fun:

Oh, no it's worse than that...I have all three lenses. I bought them all before I even ordered a camera. I was going to wait for the K7 release but saw the prices were not awful on the lenses then decided to just buy them. I was able to get them all before the huge price jump, so in a way LBA saved me cash. A few days later I found a nice price on the K20D so I decided to go with it until the K7 prices drop. It's going to be fine until then so that's how it all happened for me.

Plus, I have only had the body a bit over a week... so, gimme a chance...I'll catch up!!

you're pretty much fine with the K20D. you don't have to own a K-7, you dont have a use for it. just let us handle those ugly K-7s.
