Very true. Also, many of these suggestions fall under the category "Be careful what you wish for." A 16-135 f3.5 lens optically as good as the DA 16-65? Really? Does anyone realize how heavy and expensive such a lens would be?
In terms of sheer pragmatism, the lens that is most needed (i.e., that would have the biggest impact for Pentax shooters) is a DFA 18-35 f4-5.6, optically on par with the DFA 28-105, and featuring filter rings. Such a lens could probably be marketed for around $750 and it would solve a huge number problems for landscape shooters upgrading to the K-1. A DFA 70-300 f4-5.6, also optically on par with the DFA 28-105, would also be a nice addition, as it would make for a slow aperture yet high quality zoom trio to serve as a less expensive, less heavy alternative to the f2.8 zoom trio.
