Tamron Lens Compatibility

I have an old Pentax K1000 camera and along with it a Tamron 2 70-210mm lens.

I am looking at buying a new DSLR, will these lenses be compatible with any of the newer K-series cameras?

Yes, entirely compatible, though like the Pentax "M" lenses, and without autofocus of course.

There are several posts here about what to set - you need to allow aperture ring, and use stop-down metering, which is pretty easy - you've mastered manual metering with your K1000, so the DSLR only adds a 'push button' to the process.

Nesster, that actually looks like a P/KA lens and adapter to me, and so that lens is usable as an "A" lens instead of "M".

For the OP, this means that you don't have to use aperture ring, and just control the aperture in-camera with the dial, also it would transfer aperture information in the EXIF of the digital file.
