calling other FA31 owners

Hi guys!

Probably a year ago i was stupid enough to hit my bike with my FA31, was a good smack that even left a mark on a built-in hood.

Recently I noticed that the last lens in my FA31 ( the one that is closest to the sensor and that moves when focusing ) is somewhat loose. Event its not that glass is loose but whole fixture is not set firm - i can easily move it a bit.

Can you guys please check it? Just move the focus ring to the extreme position so the fixture pops back and try if its loose any - can be moved from side to side?

Thanks in advance,
Ilya.

I did what you ask and indeed the rear assembly moves a very tiny bit from side to side, a fraction of a milimeter but enough to feel. Not enough that I'd call it "loose" though.

Re: Calling FA 31 owners

Mine also shows that tiny bit of movement and to the best of my knowledge it's never been hit.

Might not be helping you but the rear lens group of my FA*24/2 moves even more. From memory my old FA*85/1.4 did the same too.
